Product Details

Hawk Performance Black brake pads use an all-purpose competition compound for lower-temperature, lower-torque applications. This HB157 shape fits the rear calipers of the 1990-1993 1.6L NA Miata, a common Spec Miata rear pad fitment.

  • Black compound (Hawk code M), part of Hawk's motorsport pad line
  • Medium torque with a 100°F to 900°F temperature range
  • Often run on the rear axle when Hawk Blue 9012 is used up front
  • Hawk-listed pad thickness .484 in.
  • Track use only; not recommended for street use

Fitment: Rear axle. 1990-1993 Mazda Miata (NA, 1.6L), all trims. 1994-1997 1.8L cars use a different rear pad (Hawk HB159).
