Product Details

Hawk Performance ER-1 front brake pads use Hawk's endurance racing compound, built for consistent medium-to-high friction over long sessions. This HB149 shape fits the front calipers of the 1.8L NA and standard-brake NB Miata.

  • ER-1 compound (Hawk code D) with emphasis on modulation, release and pedal communication
  • Operating range 400°F to 1600°F, optimal range 700°F to 1100°F
  • Hawk positions ER-1 for light-to-medium weight cars in HPDE, track day and time trial use
  • Hawk-listed pad thickness .505 in.
  • For iron rotors; not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors

Fitment: Front axle. 1994-1997 Mazda Miata (NA, 1.8L) and 1999-2005 Mazda Miata (NB) with standard brakes. Not for 2001-2005 cars with the Sport Suspension package or the Mazdaspeed, or for 1990-1993 1.6L cars.
