Hawk Performance HPS 5.0 rear brake pads are a high-performance street pad that adds stopping power over stock pads with smooth, predictable control. This HB442 shape fits the larger rear brakes on early NB2 Miatas with the optional factory Sport Suspension package.

  • HPS 5.0 street performance compound (Hawk code B)
  • Optimal temperature range 100°F to 550°F, maximum 750°F
  • Long rotor and pad wear life with consistent brake release
  • Hawk-listed pad thickness .496 in.
  • For iron rotors; Hawk compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors

Fitment: Rear axle. Early 2001-2002 Mazda Miata (NB2) with the optional Sport Suspension package and its larger brakes (Hawk lists this pad through 2003; check your existing pad shape on 2003 cars). Standard-brake NB cars use a different rear pad (Hawk HB159).
