Hawk Performance HPX Motorsports front brake pads use Hawk's autocross-specific HPX friction compound, developed for consistent, predictable braking whether the pads are cold or warm. This HB148 pad shape fits the front calipers of the 1990-1993 1.6L NA Miata.

  • HPX compound (Hawk code C), engineered specifically for autocross braking demands
  • Clean modulation with a predictable, smooth initial bite
  • Operating range 100°F to 700°F, optimal range 100°F to 600°F
  • Hawk-listed pad thickness .560 in.
  • Competition use only; not recommended for street driving, including to and from events

Fitment: Front axle. 1990-1993 Mazda Miata (NA, 1.6L), all trims. 1994-1997 1.8L cars use a larger front brake and a different pad (Hawk HB149).
